Je m’appelle Dediche Ngoy, je suis canadienne d’origine congolaise. Je suis née au Congo où j'ai fait mes études en haute couture. J’ai ensuite fait ma spécialisation en haute couture de 2002 à 2004 à l’Academie Internationale de Design de Toronto.
J’ai travaillé plusieurs années dans le domaine de la couture mais récemment j’ai eu l’occasion de développer ma créativité et de faire un pont en réunissant mes connaissances de la mode avec l’art. Je conçois différents portraits d’ombre incrustée et renversée avec des tissus africains pour la plupart vibrants.
Mon inspiration c’est surtout mes deux cultures africaine et canadienne et celles-ci se reflètent dans mes œuvres.
J’ai également beaucoup la passion de travailler avec du tissu et étant une personne porteur d’un handicap physique depuis mon enfance, je me suis tôt orienté à créer avec mes mains.

My name is Dediche Ngoy, I am Canadian of Congolese origin.
I was born in the Congo where I studied haute couture. I then did my specialization in haute couture from 2002 to 2004 at the International Academy of Design in Toronto.
I worked for several years in the field of couture but recently I had the opportunity to develop my creativity and make a bridge by bringing together my knowledge of fashion with art.
I design different inlaid and overturned shadow portraits with mostly vibrant African fabrics.
My inspiration is above all my two African and Canadian cultures and this is reflected in my works.
I also have a great passion for working with fabric and being a person with a physical disability since my childhood, I quickly oriented myself to create with my hands.
